Saw this place just walking by and glad we stopped. Great breakfast, I only wish I was hungry enough to try one of the tortas ! Mango milkshake, cold coffee, all was very good and normal price unlike 5 Ave. Worth the short walk...eat here.

Decent food, nice little restaurant with friendly staff., decently priced food and drinks. Tortas del carmen is located near the main core of downtown playa del carmen. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have been there 3 times, twice for dinner and once for breakfast...... Breakfast i had huevos el gusto com jamon, it came with a coffe and juice and 5 tortilla and frijoles.. It was okay, nothing spectacular , the price was 130 peos........ Dinner i had chicken fillet package which consists of chicken strips, green pepper, onion with rice, a salad, tortilla and frijoles..... Overall i wpuld recommend tortas del carmen but i wouldn't go too far out of my to get there

Had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff, particularly Manuel, were attentive and friendly. The cozy atmosphere and lack of alcohol created a peaceful setting. The free WiFi was a pleasant surprise.
